The Village of Orland Park Police Department is cooperating with the National Neighborhood Watch Institute to minimize criminal activity in the Village of Orland Park.  The Neighborhood Watch program discourages criminals and vandals from operating within those communities that participate.   The Board of Directors is researching and considering the benefits of this program within the Crystal Tree Homeowner’s Association.  Some of the benefits include the education of the community’s residents to recognize, identify and report incidents to the Police Department in a timely and accurate manner.  When this is accomplished, the Police Department can react and respond to the scene effectively.  More information on the implementation of the program will soon be available.
