The 5th Amendment Leads the Way
Have you been noticing some interesting projects taking place in our community? The 5th Amendment has been the catalyst for many of these, and will continue to expand the quality of life and leisure within Crystal Tree. Due to its passage, we have been able to accomplish some of the following improvements that would not have been possible without your supportive vote:
- The Creation of Lake Ridge Park —
With this major neighborhood enhancement, residents will have a beautiful destination to meet friends and neighbors. Come to picnic, fish from the shoreline of Lake Ridge Pond, or simply stop, rest a while and enjoy the peace and tranquility. Lake Ridge Pond has been stocked with Bass, Blue Gill, Crappie, and Sunfish to tempt anglers of all ages to exercise and hone their skills. Be sure to check in on this park from time to time as it continues to blossom and future plans unfold. Meet you at the park!
- Sidewalk Extensions — Thanks to the 5th Amendment, we have been able to enhance our current Sidewalk Replacement Program with additional new sidewalk extensions. These extensions have served to connect sidewalks along areas previously absent of pedestrian walkways, directing pedestrian traffic to our brick crosswalks. Our “walkers” have already commented on what an improvement this has made to their daily stroll!
- Installation of a Pond Pump — This will improve the way we deliver water to maintain our common area grass and plantings, serving to dramatically reduce our water bill into the future.
- Broadened Scope of Architectural Approvals — As individual residents, you may already be seeing improvements to the scope of architectural approval requests allowed. While we are obligated to go through an Architectural Approval Process for any and all exterior or landscape improvements, the 5th Amendment has given your Architectural Committee and Landscape Committee additional outreach to support certain requests that previously couldn’t be considered. Just one example: Do you think a retractable awning might make your summers on the back deck more enjoyable? The 5th Amendment has made this consideration possible to the Architectural Committee. With the passage of the 5th Amendment, your Board of Directors can better serve you.
As you can see, your vote was important. You are essential in helping us to make this community work. Thank you for your support. Please be sure to visit our website regularly for the latest news and please do sign up for those email updates and alerts. This will make you a well–informed resident and you will be glad that you have taken a continued interest in your community.
